TIGER ADVENTURE FOUNDATION



The Trust was established in 2013 on the Krishna Janmashtami day and was doing its bit in association with other organisation till 2016 and in the same year the trust was official registered with Indian Trust Act at Sub Registrar office in Mysore.

D S D Solanki is an Ardent Adventure Enthusiast and he is commonly known as Tiger Solanki, he is a disciplined man who waits for none once the time is listed.

He plunge into the adventure activities in the year 1978 and since then he was exploring for himself and in 1987 he first went to National Trekking Expedition in Goa Region under the aegis of NCC and since then he is being avid adventure enthusiast and he had trekked with various agencies in Karnataka and in the country.

In 1998 he took three people to the Himalayas and since then he is being taking youths to the mountains year after the year.He has done more than 46 expeditions to his credits and he has failed three times on the route of Adi kailash, Mantalai and Rupin pass due to various technical and natural reason.

He has done several treks in the western and Eastern Ghat and has been avid aero sports enthusiast who has done Gliding, Paragliding, Paramotoring, Parasailing, Micro flight to Skydiving.He has taken several batches for the Tube Rafting in VC Channel and exposed several students to white water rafting in Ganges.


He has led successful expedition to Mt Friendship peak in 2016, apart from expedition like HOPE-2016, DREAMS-2010, UDAAN-2013, THE SILENT HEROES-2017 and ASHA-2019 which still remains nostalgia in the minds of the recipients.

He has trained several uniform personal at Karnataka Police Academy, Mysore, Police Training College, Gulbarga and Police Training School, Channapatna, apart from Training the Maldives Police officers and Puducherry Police Officers. He has introduced Archery for the Gazetted Officers of the Administrative Training Institute, (ATI) Mysore.

It is ably Supported by Mrs.Suma Mahesh, an Social worker, who is associated with several association in the mysore city and her first ever expedition Nari Shakti -2018 to Mt Baradasar Pass has earned her a public image as Public Hero in the Public TV in 2018. 

She has been a Deputy Team Leader for the Asha-2019 an exclusive expedition for the tribal girls from Bandipur and Nagarahole. She has been an constant promoter of the adventure activities in the society and fond of the archery activities. 

She is a bharatanatyam Dancer, Singer, Choreographer and she had been the past president of the Inner Wheel club of Mysore Central. She has promoted several charity project for the special children since 2013. She was the reckoning force in raising the funds for the The Silent Heroes in 2019.  She is the Hon.Secretary of the Tiger Adventure Foundation.

The Trust was established with sole objective of promotion of adventure sports in the youths of the country and with special attention been given to the Special kids of the society.

The Activities : The foundation since its inception has done various activities like trekking, rock climbing, archery,  Mountain Biking,  in the eastern and western Ghats apart from various Himalayan expedition to Saurkundi Pass(13,500Ft), Rumtu Top(13,000ft), Chanderkhani Pass (13,000ft)  Stok and Kangri (20,500Ft)  Goechela Pass (16,500ft), Kedarkanta (12,500ft), Brighu Lake (14,000ft) Hampta pass (14,000ft), Chandertal (15,000ft) Tunda Bhuja (13,500feet),  Everest base camp (17600feet) & Baradasar Pass (15,000Ft) & Beach trekking.

Mountaineering Feat: The Foundation has taken 20 young and energetic youths along with home maker (house wives) to the Mount Friendship Peak which is at a height of 17500 feet in Himachal Pradesh. The expedition was flagged of by His Excellency Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor of Haryana, The crux of this expedition is the house wives have broken the records with no prior experience of the trekking or mountaineering after their enduring efforts for more than 10 hours they could summit it which was well appreciated by His Excellency Shri   Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala, Governor of Karnataka too.

For Special Children: 

The foundation has done various programs like Archery, Trekking, Tube rafting, Australian Trolley & Rock climbing for the Visually Challenged, Speech & Hearing impaired.


The trek to Kunti Betta done for the visually challenged is still been cherished by the Girls of Ranga Rao Memorial School for the disabled, a free school for the visually challenged Girls along with that a regular trek to the chamundi hills has become a annual feature where the girls look forward to such a wonderful trek amidst the nature.

THE SILENT HEROES 2017: It was the signature project of the Tiger Adventure Foundation where fifteen Speech and hearing impaired students ascended the Rumtu Top (13,000feet) in Himachal Pradesh and it was meant to expose them to the challenges of life and to instill confidence in them to overcome disability and excel in life.

Nari Shakti 2018: We were witness to the 67th Republic day celebration on 26th Jan 2015 where in it was the first Republic day of Honourable Shri Narendra Modi, as Prime minister of India, where in it was he who gave a call “Nari Shakti” where in the females from the all the Tri services namely Army, Navy and Indian Air force marched with the pride on the Rajpath.

Taking the cue from the day we successfully took one ladies team and Summitted on Mount Baraadsar Lake which is located at a height of 14,500ft between the Rupin and Supin valleys. The lake is virtually on the border of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

ASHA- 2019: It is giving a hope to the Girl Child to realize her dreams to soar high in the sky. In his speech on 15th August 2018, from the Red Fort, Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi reiterated about the tribal Girls ascending the Mt Everest. This is also part of BETI BACHAO AND BETI PADHAO.This tribal girls are drawn from Bandipur and Nagarahole range and it will be first of its kind in the history of the Karnataka state where in an exclusive expedition to Himalayas is been organized for the tribal girls.
