Tough Endurance on slot

Initially when we were going through the endurance I was cursing myself did I do the right thing by joining the group, but as said the good yields come only after hard work. We did lots of physical endurance under the able guidance of Mr. Sharath N and Mr. Nanjunda Swamy. It’s been said the sweetest moments come only after the hard work and we have been dreaming of this day since Oct 3rd 2018 when the selection trials were done.It has been a long journey of 218 days where we could see our dreams been realized of climbing Himalayan Mountain says Ms Aishwini of Viveka Tribal School of Learning.

The expedition was flagged of by Mr. G T Devegowda, Higher Education Minister and District In charge at Mysore @ Mysore, the dreams were soaring high as we were nearing to the first step of the dream, we had dreamt says Jyothi of Viveka Tribal Centre for learning, Mysore

Paragliding by Trekking tigers
Earlier team had Paragliding session at Dhobhi Para Gliding Circuit, Initially there were bubbles in the stomach but after instruction from the instructors, we rapped the seat harness and just mustered the courage and hooked to the pilot and took a jump from the mountain, we  soared high in the sky like a bird and after few minutes the Pilot gave the reins of the glider in our hand and showed the maneuvers like left, right followed by stunts like stall, spin etc we landed safely, this is the moment which I shall never forget in my life says Miss Bhavana Of Shashwath Seva School, Alanhalli, Mysore.

Wg Cdr Abhinandan coming from
Pakistan via Wagh border
I had seen Wg Cdr Abhinandan in news coming from Pakistan through wagah border, but never in my wildest dream had thought that I will ever get a chance to see the borders of our countries thanks to Tiger Adventure Foundation and ladies Circle India, for the wonderful gesture. We had opportunity to see the Attari Border and Hussainiwala Border says Dr Sunaina Pandhare, a doctor from Bangalore.

Parliament House
Having seen our leader’s brick batting in the parliament on the various issues: I had an opportunity to visit the temple of Democracy, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, apart from Akshardham, Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum; Parliament Museum says Harshitha of Varuna, Mysore District .

On 4th May 2019 we had the opportunity of seeing the change of guard ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. It was nice to see the horse of the President Body Guard dancing to the tunes of the music says Mrs. Chandana Naveen of Bangalore.

We were returning to home sweet,  but tiger had surprised visit for all of us at the fag end of the program by taking us to Rashtrapati Bhavan. we were all excited as we got to know the news that we are allowed to see the Bhavan, which we used to see only on the TV. We took pictures on the forecourt and the program concluded with the cabs running towards the airport.

We also went through various places like main building, showing them the Forecourt and premier rooms of the Bhavan including, the Banquet Hall, Ashok Hall, Durbar Hall, Library, North Drawing Room, Long Drawing Room, Navachara and more.

On 17th May 2019, when we landed in the Bangalore the team got one more surprise  that Governor of Karnataka had granted an audience to the team at the Raj Bhavan. His Excellency Shri Vajubhai Vala, spent about 40 minutes interacting with the trekkers.

The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre, took place on 13 April 1919 when troops of the British Indian Army under the command of Acting Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer fired rifles into a crowd of unarmed Indian civilians who had gathered in Jallianwala BaghAmritsarPunjab. The civilians had assembled for a peaceful protest to condemn the arrest and deportation of two national leaders, Satya Pal and Saifuddin Kitchlew, and to honour the Sikh festival of Baisakhi.
